Company
It was the company’s founder Pietro Maierhofer who built the first 1 kW hydroelectric power station with parts he invented, and who shone the first incandescent light bulb in Proves in Val di Non in 1896.
On the strength of his many experiences, he founded a small mechanical workshop, with which he built his own hydroelectric power stations, supplying electricity to considerable villages.
With the succession of generations, knowledge was passed on and augmented with technology until these prototypes became true self-operating plants.
Today, the company has state-of-the-art, high-tech machinery that enables it to manufacture products of the highest quality.
